Okay, Lisa here. I've been managing a website for a company that owns several vacation properties for a few years. In lieu of payment for services, I've been accruing time for a future vacation. Which, because of several reasons, isn't likely to be something that I can do with my husband for the foreseeable future (new/growing business, too many dogs, work schedules, etc.)!
So, my time has been happily accruing away. Recently, I had a revelation that my good friend Karen has accrued lots of airmiles that she hasn't used. I have a place to stay, she has miles. A perfect match! This will be our third great adventure together.
Our first adventure together was when we drove 5 Silken Windhounds 2300 miles over five days from Portland OR to St. Louis, MO in May of 2007. You can check out that story here if you like: Silkenfest 2007.
Our second great adventure was to Denver over Fourth of July weekend in 2007, again with dogs. We didn't blog that trip, but we had a lot of fun nevetheless.
This will be our third adventure....8 days in Cancun and Isla Mujeres in November 2008, just us girls. Come follow our adventures! If you dare.
